It was good at keeping our shoes and furniture legs away but it was easily caught on socks, cables, and carpets. We didn't include the Scout RX3 in our Best Buy list. The Scout RX3 offers a good price and impressive performance. It's worth considering as an alternative to the traditional uprights.
